Netherlands Active Shooter Incident

18 March 2019 ,  London

Members in Utrecht (Utrecht province) should minimise movement in the Kanaleneiland area during ongoing security operations following a shooting incident at 24 Oktoberplein. Terrorism has not been ruled out and the Netherlands government has raised the terror threat level in Utrecht province to ‘critical’ until at least 18.00 (local time). Members should follow all official directives and exercise caution throughout the city.
